S/S PEURA III -FOR SALE-
Type of vessel: Steam ship.
Built: 1905 Lehtoniemi & Taipale, Joroinen. Sinked
in 1964, lifted and rebuilt 1980.

Draft: about 1,50 meters
Main engine: Original steam engine, steam engine producing about
43 indicated horse powers.
The boiler is the ship’s original boiler from 1905
and it is
in very good condition, fire tubes renewed in 1999.
Steam
max. using pressure is 10.00 kp/cm2, testing pressure 15.00
kp/cm2.
Cruising speed: About 6 knots, top speed 9 knots.
Boiler heating: wood
The deckhouse contains cockpit,
small sauna and kitchen. Below deck
there are engine room in the middle and two sleeping cabins, (in front
and at the back).
Position: Lake Kallavesi(dry-dock), Kuopio, Finland.

S/S Peura III was lifted in 1980 from Lake Kallavesi where it sinked in 1964. Peura III was used as a small tug boat by local wood company Peuran Saha.
S/S Peura III was rebuilt after the lift.
